The Rico Center Hosts Awardees Reception

The Rico Center hosted a reception for recipients of its 2023 Grant Cycle awards, 6:30 PM March 7, 2023 at Rico Town Hall in the Courthouse building. About 40 Rico residents, including grant awardees, attended. The Rico Center provided snacks and beverages.

Total amount of 2023 grant cycle awards is $169,267.

The Rico Center is a nonprofit community foundation committed to preserving and enriching the quality of life of the residents, visitors and workforce of Rico, Colorado. It awards grants to local non-profit organizations, governmental entities and sponsored individuals involved in community development.

Dolores County voters approved a mill levy increase in 2003 to fund various needs in the county. The Rico Center formed to distribute Rico's allocation of these funds.
